This Week on Night Views: Song-writer/Keyboardist David “Hawk” Wolinski

“Night Views” Radio is talking to another accomplished musician this Thursday night, February 18th at 11pm ET, 8pm PT. David “Hawk” Wolinski will be joining us to talk about his career in the music world. Hawk is a keyboardist, song-writer, and record producer best known for his work with the funk band Rufus and their lead singer Chaka Khan. Hawk has worked with numerous other artists as a musician, song-writer, or producer including The Bee Gees, Glenn Frey, Michael Jackson, Stephanie Mills, and many others. Hawk has also worked a lot with former Night Views Radio guest Danny Seraphine and will talk about writing with the founding member of rock group Chicago.

Sons of Champlin Announce Tour Dates

One of “Night Views” Radio’s favorite bands “The Sons of Champlin” has announced their west coast tour. The Sons’ founder Bill Champlin has released the information on his Official Website and his Official Facebook Page.

Bill’s son Will Champlin, who was a featured guest here on our show, will be opening on the March 6th show at the Mystic Theatre so fans will be in for a rare treat. “Night Views” has always been a big supporter of the Champlins and all their work including having a “BICHIN” show to talk with fans about Bill Champlin’s solo tour. Also “Night Views” producer Robert Saul worked with another show and network to help put together a Bill Champlin Call-In show where fans could interact with Bill.

Guitar Legend Rick Vito will be a guest on “Night Views” Radio

Night Views Radio will be talking with musician/guitarist extraordinare Rick Vito about his current projects and musical career working, writing, and playing with some of the most elite musicians in the biz. From working with Todd Rundgren, Little Richard, Jackson Browne, Rita Coolidge, Dolly Parton, Bob Segar, Bonnie Raitt, and many others, Rick has established his name in the music industry. In 1987, Rick joined the legendary band Fleetwood Mac replacing guitarist and vocalist Lindsey Buckingham. These days Rick is still recording and playing with Mick Fleetwood as the guitarist and frontman for “The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band” whose album “Blue Again” was nominated for a 2010 Grammy.
